Sunday's activities will affect city traffic

The Broad Street Run and other events will affect Philadelphia traffic Sunday. The 10-mile run, beginning at 8:30 a.m., will fill the southbound lanes and interrupt cross traffic and bus routes as it proceeds from Somerville Avenue in Logan to the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

SEPTA suggests runners park at the South Philadelphia sports complex, take the Broad Street Line to the start, and walk back to the parking lot afterward.

The Ben Franklin Bridge will be closed from 8 to 10 a.m. for the March of Dimes' March for Babies, a four-mile fund-raising trek from the Camden waterfront to midspan and back.
