Say "Manolo Blahniks" in City Hall, and I'm sure most pols would ask how much the firm gave to the campaign.

Not

Mayor Nutter

.

Everyone knows he likes his gritty entertainments, which was evident when he hosted a screening of the finale of the HBO series

The Wire

in March.

But Hizzoner will show his . . . shall we say . . . estrogenic side Tuesday when he will be front and center at an invitation-only sneak preview of the

Sex and the City

movie at the Ritz Five in Society Hill, arranged by New Line Cinema and publicists Terry Hines & Associates.

Nutter says he likes the dialogue, the characters, the stories, and the "crazy situations they found themselves in." The show "raised people's consciousness, at the time, about a generation of people coming up in a fast-paced world."

His favorite characters: Carrie (

Sarah Jessica Parker

), "who was always getting into all kinds of dilemmas," and Charlotte (

Kristin Davis

), who was "wonderfully naive, yet there's a smart way about her."

Rob McElhenney

from FX's

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

will shoot exteriors for next season starting June 4. I hear that one plot has the guys trying to buy the Philadelphia Soul football team - sure, like

Jon Bon Jovi

and

Craig Spencer

would sell - and that, for an unrelated scene, Eagles players will be part of a June 6 late-afternoon shoot in Center City that will be open to the public. Details are being worked out.

Drop-ins

Jane Seymour

, who happened to be staying at the Loews hotel, dropped into the Mural Arts Program's Wall Ball the other night and was asked to make the closing announcements. Moving speech about how the program changes the lives of kids and enlightens the community. Seymour is spending the weekend in Stone Harbor, N.J., as she has an art show at Ocean Galleries.

That really was

Demi Moore

, husband

Ashton Kutcher

, and two of her girls touring the

Frida Kahlo

exhibit at the Art Museum on Mother's Day.

New York Times food writer

Florence Fabricant

and restaurateur

Stephen Starr

teamed last week at the Residences of Two Liberty Place for a Q&A on the state of the restaurant industry. Starr was quizzed about whether he'd be the one opening a restaurant on the luxury skyscraper's 37th floor, but said that wouldn't be the case. Starr is about a month from opening a French bistro called Parc in the new Parc Rittenhouse and about two months from opening two eateries in Atlantic City's Chelsea Hotel.

Fightin' words

The Irish Pub in Atlantic City has settled its federal lawsuit against Metro Corp., publisher of A.C. Now and Philadelphia Mag. In an issue two winters ago, A.C. Now characterized the pub as a "dive bar" patronized by "broken-down blackjack addicts" and "self-professed black sheep of the family." No terms were disclosed.

Radio activity

Chris Booker's

ouster as Q102's morning man Friday means an uncertain legal and job status for one

Mark Bruse

of Croydon. On Tuesday, Booker threatened to fire the show intern for chronic lateness. To return to Booker's good graces, Bruse made a sign of apology and held it in the rain at City Avenue and Presidential Boulevard. At some point, Bruse dropped trou, whereupon Lower Merion police cited him. Though the police report acknowledged that Bruse wore underwear (black, to be precise), police labeled the action disorderly conduct and issued him a summons. Will the station now back him up? Is he also out of a job? Bruse did not return requests for comment.

Booker is still under contract, so he will be paid for his remaining year. His replacement might be the syndicated

Elvis Duran

, who hosts the

Z Morning Zoo

on New York's Z-100, also a Clear Channel station. Duran spent a year at Q102 in 1989-90.

WPHI (100.3) last week released hometowner

Colby Colb

as afternoon host and program director. New afternoon host is

Poochman

, most recently paired on nights with

Touchtone

. The station eliminated the PD title, as Radio One operations manager

Elroy Smith

handles the day to day.

Both CN8's

Kevin Walsh

and NBC10's
