Memorial service to honor Turkish Armenian editor

Members of the region's Armenian community are sponsoring a memorial service at 10 a.m. today at the statue of Young Mher in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to mark last week's killing of the editor of a Turkish Armenian newspaper.

Hrant Dink, editor of Agos, was slain Jan. 19 in Turkey. Dink had faced criminal prosecution and several death threats for calling attention to the conditions faced by minority groups in that country.
