A $10,000 reward is being offered for information about a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a Philadelphia police officer.
Officer Michael Brady was off-duty when he was struck by a car while he was walking on the 2300 block of East Cumberland Street in Kensington shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday.
The Fraternal Order of Police announced the $10,000 reward today for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
The 28-year-old officer suffered a deep laceration on his head and was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
The striking vehicle is believed to be a black or dark-colored 2010 Ford Taurus. The car is missing its passenger-side windshield wiper and may have a dented hood and damage to the passenger-side windshield.

The car was last seen driving east on Cumberland Street toward Aramingo Avenue.
