Police are looking for a man who has burglarized a Northeast Philadelphia mosque twice before making his escape on two wheels.

The suspect forcibly entered the Islamic Society of Greater Philadelphia Mosque at 7252 Roosevelt Blvd. in the Castor section after hours and took an undisclosed amount of money. Both times he escaped on a bike.

The first burglary occurred on July 12 and the second on July 17. The department released security footage of the thefts in an effort to identify the man.

In the video, the suspect is seen taking money from a donation box during his first run and on his second visit, he attempts to crack open a safe. But before fleeing on his bicycle, he stopped to take a drink of water from the water cooler.

Anyone with information is asked to call 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.
