Man charged in fatal shooting in Glassboro

A 28-year-old Glassboro man was charged with first-degree murder for the fatal shooting of a 58-year-old man Saturday at a Gloucester County apartment complex, prosecutors said Monday.

Michael D. White allegedly shot Michael Fleming in the head and neck area sometime before 1:45 a.m. Saturday while Fleming was sitting in a parked car at the Hollybush Garden apartments in Glassboro, where they both resided. Fleming was pronounced dead at the scene.

White surrendered to police on Sunday and was charged with first-degree murder and related offenses. Prosecutors did not specify a motive for the shooting.
