Car dealership offers reward in murder of employee
Samuel Algarin had worked at the car dealership since he was 18.
A Chester County car dealership is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the homicide of a longtime employee.
Samuel Algarin, 31, of Quarryville, Lancaster County, was found dead on the side of Limestone Road on Thursday night in West Fallowfield, Chester County. Police have not released a cause of death, but a source told NBC10 that Algarin suffered "two entry wounds to the chest." Algarin had worked as a parts manager at Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet in Oxford Township for 13 years.
"He's been here since he was a young man, and he was like family," said Matt Combs, a friend and service director at the dealership. "Anybody knows that when you're in the automotive business you spend more time with your workers than your own family."
Police are searching for Algarin's car, a dark-colored GMC Terrain SUV, license-plate number JPG-5878. Authorities are asking anyone who had contact with Algarin on Thursday to call police. Algarin was in the West Fallowfield area with his children several hours before he was found dead.
Anyone with information should call Chester County Detectives at 610-344-6866.
