Hundreds of cyclists are expected to shed their clothes this afternoon for the seventh iteration of Philadelphia's Naked Bike Ride.

Organizers announced the starting point for the ride, a site along the Schuylkill on Martin Luther King Drive near the intersection of Sweetbriar Drive. Cyclists are expected to begin gathering at 12:30 p.m. for "pre-ride activities" which in previous years have included body painting and routine bike maintenance.

According to a blog post by organizers, the ride will begin at 3 p.m. and make an orbit around Eakins Oval before passing through University City, Rittenhouse Square, Center City and Old City.

Organizers also shared a map on social media (click image to enlarge):

"At the ending location, everybody will have to get dressed again, before heading to the after-parties," organizers wrote. They also recommended all riders wear a helmet, sunblock and bug repellent.

A police spokeswoman said the department had not scheduled any road closures for the event.
