A Montgomery County woman is facing charges for allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old boy she met while attending an event at a high school.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said a patrol officer encountered 42-year-old Iris Gibney engaged in sexual activity with the boy inside a vehicle at Hollenbach Park.

The officer had spotted two vehicles in the Upper Pottsgrove park after it had closed on Nov. 15, at about 8:30 p.m., officials said.

Investigators determined that Gibney and the teenager met while attending a function at Pottsgrove High School.

The pair then communicated via Twitter and the Pottstown woman later sent several nude photographs of herself to the teen, according to prosecutors.

Authorities said she was arraigned Tuesday on charges of corruption of minors, disseminating obscene materials to a minor and trespassing in a motor vehicle.

She is free on $50,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 30.
