Man fatally shot in Frankford

Homicide detectives are investigating an overnight fatal shooting in Frankford.

Police responded to a report of a man shot on the 4300 block of Penn Street shortly after midnight.

The man was killed, police said. His identity was not available.

The motive for the shooting wasn't immediately known.

Initial police radio reports said the suspect or suspects may have fled in a newer-model Cadillac sedan with tinted windows.
