Man, 33, critically wounded in Olney shooting

A man was fighting for his life following a shooting in Olney early Sunday morning.

According to police, around 12:48 a.m. officers responded to reports of a person with a gun and a person screaming on the 5500 block of Rising Sun Avenue.

Officers discovered the 33-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

Authorities said they do not yet have a motive or suspect in the case.
