In 20-minute span, 4 are shot in Germantown

One man and three teens were hurt by gunfire within a 20-minute span Tuesday afternoon in the city's Germantown section.

One man and three teens were hurt by gunfire within a 20-minute span Tuesday afternoon in the city's Germantown section.

About 3:50 p.m., a 54-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his right shin in the unit block of West Rockland Street, police said. The victim declined assistance from responding medics.

About 4:10 p.m., with police still on the scene, gunfire erupted nearby. A 19-year-old man was shot in the right ankle in the 4800 block of Germantown Avenue and was taken by police to Temple University Hospital.

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the left arm at Germantown and West Logan Street and was taken by medics to Einstein Medical Center.

And a 17-year-old boy was shot in the left calf at Greene and Wyneva Streets and was taken by private vehicle to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

All three teens were listed in stable condition.

Police reported no arrests.
