Police were investigating the discovery late Wednesday afternoon of a man's body wrapped in blankets and a tarp in the city's Fairhill section.

Police were called about 5:40 p.m. to the railroad tracks under the 3000 block of Mascher Street, where the body of a man who appeared to be in his 30s was found, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
