Cheltenham Township police are seeking a man who they say robbed a 7-11 store early Friday morning.

At approximately 2:36 a.m., police said, the man entered the store at 250 S. Easton Rd. in Glenside and, implying he had a weapon in his jacket, demanded the money from the cash register.

The clerk gave the suspect cash from the register, and the suspect left the store and walked north on Easton Road, police said.

He is described as 30-35 years old, 5-foot-9 to 5-11, with a heavy build and a small amount of facial hair. He was wearing a black knit cap, a black leather jacket with a blue design on the back and right sleeve, black pants with two gray stripes down the side and black knit gloves.

Police said he may be the same suspect who robbed the 7-11 on Dec. 25.
