The family of a West Chester University student who went missing early Thursday offered $10,000 for information about what happened to him after he left a bar in the city's Manayunk section.
The family of a West Chester University student who went missing early Thursday offered $10,000 for information about what happened to him after he left a bar in the city's Manayunk section.
Shane M. Montgomery, 21, was last seen about 1:45 a.m. when he was escorted out of Kildare's Pub at 4417 Main St. after tripping over a stool, said his mother, Karen. He had been at the bar with a cousin and friends and they got separated.
The last location tracked on his mobile phone was at a CVS pharmacy at 2:38 a.m. Thursday. Police on Friday searched the Schuylkill and deployed a helicopter to check rooftops and fire escapes.
Montgomery is white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, about 130 pounds, with short brown hair and green eyes. He has a tattoo of a Celtic cross on one shoulder blade. He was last seen wearing a gray button-down shirt, blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and black sneakers. Anyone with information can call Detective Patrick Valentino at 215-686-3353 or -3354.
