Two shot in West Philadelphia
Two men were wounded in a double shooting Tuesday afternoon in West Philadelphia, police said. About 2:30 p.m. at 52d and Westminster Streets, a 33-year-old man was shot multiple times in the torso and twice in the right hip, police said. He was taken by police to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was initially listed in critical condition. He was later upgraded to stable.
