Philadelphia has already had more homicides than days of the year as two more slayings bumped up the city's 2007 total to 59.

About 7 Sunday night, police found Robert Henderson, 31, dead in the vestibule of his apartment building on Harrison Street near Darrah in Northeast Philadelphia. He had been shot several times.

Shortly before 3 p.m yesterday, an unidentified man in his early 20s was shot in the head and neck on Somerset Street near Lambert in North Philadelphia.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he died about 20 minutes later.

Police had no suspects in either slaying. *
