Three people died in two separate traffic accidents yesterday.

In Montgomery Township, a man and woman died in a crash at about 10:30 last night in the 700 block of Upper State Road.

In Philadelphia, a Bustleton man died after an early morning hit-and-run.

Police investigating the Montgomery County crash said they believe that Andrew Miller, 24, of Warrington, was heading north when his Honda station wagon crossed into the southbound lane, colliding with a Honda SUV and killing its driver, Karen Wildey of Montgomery Township.

A third driver, Ronald Dewitt, 52, also of Montgomery Township, was uninjured. His southbound Nissan sedan was behind the SUV.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Montgomery Township police at 215-362-2300.

According to Philadelphia police, a motorist found Vyacheslav Bondarenko, 67, of Borbeck Avenue, lying in the middle of the northbound lane of the 8800 block of Krewstown Road at about 3:40 a.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The speed limit on the two-lane road that winds through Pennypack Park is 30 m.p.h.
