Three firefighters were injured in a South Philadelphia rowhouse fire early yesterday.

Fire officials declined to detail the nature or severity of the firefighters' injuries, citing medical confidentiality laws. The three were treated at local hospitals.

It took fire crews 25 minutes to get the blaze under control, a Fire Department spokesman said. The fire broke out at 7:43 a.m. in a three-story rowhouse on Watkins Street near 7th.

The cause is under investigation. *
