Whenever I pack, I always include a pair of slipper socks for padding around my hotel room or sitting around a campfire. With the perfect pair, my feet get the warmth, but all of me feels the cuddle - kind of a chain reaction from sole to soul. No surprise then, that I came close to purring out loud when my toes burrowed into the plush fleece lining of Pudus Slipper Socks, cushioning me up to my calves in a snuggly cocoon. The outer sock is a soft, stretchy acrylic knit in eclectic patterns, from hearts and snowflakes to lumberjack and camouflage motifs, and leopard and giraffe-skin patterns with bright pink or purple trim. I like that the cushioning is just as thick on the bottom, so your feet get a deliciously soft landing with each step. Five rows of non-slip silicone grip strips provide traction on slick surfaces. The designers were careful to minimize seams that might fit your feet the wrong way. Pudus Slipper Socks feel seamless, except for a little reinforcing at the very tip of the toes. For maximum coverage, wear the socks full-length up to about mid-calf. Flip over the cuff for a flash of fleece, or roll the sock all the way down for a fuzzy anklet slipper. These socks are described as unisex, but the one-size adult model is really meant to fit women, shoe size 5-10. They also come in a one-size version for toddlers, and another for infants.
