French pot phenomenon

Graeter's Ice Cream has built a legion of fans around its home base in Cincinnati, where, since 1870, it has been making ridiculously rich ice cream two gallons at a time using the French pot process. This small chain of ice cream shops in the Midwest has recently started supplying grocery stores in our neck of the woods, so you can buy a pint around here.
