Gritty makes late-night television debut on the ‘Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’

He showed off his dance moves next to the television host and Ricky Gervais.

Even though he made his official debut only four days ago, Gritty, the orange, googly-eyed new mascot of the Flyers, has been a hot topic of conversation on social media. On Thursday night, he made his late-night television debut during Jimmy Fallon's cold open to Boyz II Men's "Motown Philly." In true Philly fashion, Gritty picks a fight with actor Ricky Gervais when he cuts.
