The second season of true-crime parody American Vandal, created by Exton native Tony Yacenda, officially has a premiere date at Netflix. But rather than spraypainted phalluses, this season will deal with something a little grosser — feces.
In its first season, American Vandal investigated a series of spraypainted penises in a fictional school's parking lot, with protagonist Peter Maldonado (Tyler Alvarez) working to clear the name of local ne'er-do-well Dylan Maxwell (Jimmy Tatro) of the crime. Now, however, the new season will have Maldonado and his partner, Sam Ecklund (Griffin Gluck) investigating a series of "poop-related pranks" at an elite Catholic School.
"American Vandal's addictive second season will have everyone speculating: Who is the Turd Burglar?" a release reads.
Co-creator Yacenda teased a second season last year, when the Inquirer caught up with him following the premiere of American Vandal. In an interview, Yacenda said that the show might not continue to focus on spraypainted penises.
