Omarosa Manigault Newman, former assistant to President Trump, will appear at Temple University next week for a speaking engagement, book signing, and Q&A session.
Newman will be at Temple's Annenberg Hall at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, for the event, which is only for Temple students. The event is free, but for students only.
The appearance follows the release last month of her tell-all memoir, Unhinged, in which Newman details her time at the White House, where she worked as director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison. The book debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times list nonfiction best-sellers list.
During her time in Trump's White House, Newman reportedly recorded more than 200 secret tapes of meetings between staffers. Last month, she released the first of those recordings, causing an uproar in the press that has been described as "one of the worst security breaches" in U.S. history, according to Business Insider.
