The Eagles will kick off the regular NFL season next week, and Comcast NBCUniversal's Al Roker, former Good Day Philadelphia anchor Sheinelle Jones, and Wyndmoor, Pa.,  (and noted Eagles fan) Jim Cramer will be here in Philly to celebrate the start to another year of football.

CNBC's Squawk on the Street and Mad Money, as well as NBC News' Today show, will broadcast from the Comcast Center Plaza all day on Thursday, Sept. 6 in a "Countdown to Kickoff" event, according to a release. Programming is scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and all events will be open to the public.

Festivities will begin with a live broadcast of the Today show with Roker and Jones, who will host the program from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. from the Comcast Center Plaza. Special guests and segments are scheduled, including an appearance from the Lombardi trophy, which will travel throughout the city ahead of the Birds' 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field against the Atlanta Falcons.

From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Cramer will host Squawk on the Street alongside co-anchors Carl Quintanilla and David Faber, who will join Cramer — a Montgomery County native — from the New York Stock Exchange. Cramer will also host an episode of Mad Money from the Comcast Center Plaza from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., where he will take questions from the audience.

The broadcasts are in addition to the planned 2018 NFL Kickoff Experience, which will include day-long festival at Great Plaza at Penn's Landing, starting at 10 a.m. that will be capped off with a free Shawn Mendes concert at 6 p.m.
