Celebrate Brazilian Independence Day at the next-to-last multicultural festival at Penn's Landing this summer. Watch performances of samba, forro, capoeira, and more while enjoying enjoying authentic bites. The 2018 multicultural series wraps next Sunday, Sept. 16, with Mexican Independence Day.

An Unofficial, Unauthorized Tour of LOVE Park

See Philly's LOVE Park through a Fringe Fest lens on this tour led by Kate Banford and Rose Luardo, who write and perform comedy locally. Questions are encouraged, laughs and oddness anticipated.

The Philadelphia Orchestra returns

The orchestra launches its 2018-19 season with the traditional opening-night concert and gala. Strauss, Brahms, Rossini, and Bernstein are on the program. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts. The ensemble's opening-weekend program, Friday through Sunday, features pianist André Watts.
