Want to fight John Bolaris?

WANT TO FIGHT John Bolaris? Damon Feldman is going to give you your shot.

The former NBC10/Fox 29 weatherman, and current weather contributor to Philly.com and president and founder of weathersavior.com, will step into the celebrity boxing arena on Sept. 20.

Feldman is taking possible opponents via email at thepromoterx @aol.com. No venue has been announced.

Bolaris is not a newcomer to celeb boxing. He fought in Feldman's first match 18 years ago against former Q102 morning man Diego Ramos, but lost in a split decision.

"I really won that fight," Bolaris said, with a laugh. "A lot of people don't know why I want to do it; it's B-list. But it's not about that, it's just fun. I never looked at myself as a celebrity, so I'm just having fun."

Bolaris said that Feldman had been after him for years to get back in the ring, bringing up the Robert De Niro-starring "Grudge Match" as a reason to return. "But he was the Raging Bull and I'm just a weatherman," Bolaris said.

The bout is for charity, although the specific cause has not been chosen yet.

* Speaking of Feldman, he's starting his own TV show on WACP Channel 4. "The Promoter" will give guests the opportunity to discuss their products or brands on the air. The show will premiere Aug. 13 at 10 p.m.

Philly-born-and-raised singer Cody Wise will be on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" tonight. Wise, a protege of the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am and alum of the Pennsylvania Ballet's famed "Nutcracker" (he played Fritz), will perform his single "It's My Birthday," along with Mr. i.am. The song already hit No. 1 in the U.K. after it was aired on their version of "The Voice" (where will.i.am is a mentor) and has been gaining traction in other countries, like Australia and Ireland.

Wise is a creative ambassador for Visit Philly's 360° campaign.

Legendary rapper Schoolly D will compose the soundtrack for the new film "Parkside." The movie is set to shoot in West Philly in the fall.

Hip-hop fans know that D, a/k/a Jesse Weaver, is no stranger to writing Parkside-inspired music. His biggest hit, "P.S.K.," referenced the Park Side Killers, and he released another single called "Parkside 5-2," which later appeared on an extended version of his "Saturday Night! - The Album."

Philly dance queen and Pretty Poison (of "Catch Me, I'm Falling" fame) front lady Jade Starling got some good news the other day: "Think About U," the second single from her debut solo album, "Captive," hit No. 2 on the Billboard Dance Chart for the week of Aug. 9. The album's first single, "Insomniak," cracked the Top 30 on the Billboard Dance charts late last year.

"Captive" is set for release Aug. 12 on Subpoena/Universal Records. The day before her album drops, Starling will be at Scores Atlantic City (1000 Boardwalk) as a special guest of DJ Expo 2014.

OUT AND ABOUT * The Who's Roger Daltrey dined out at Il Pittore (2025 Sansom St.) on Sunday night after coming into town via Amtrak. Last night, Daltrey performed alongside the Wynnewood-born Joan Jett at the Kimmel Center for a concert benefiting Teen Cancer America, a charity that gives teenagers a space of their own while taking on cancer. I heard he was raving about the meal, which makes sense considering that chef Chris Painter just won best chef in Philadelphia magazine's Best of Philly Readers' Poll. * Former St. Louis Cardinals great Ozzie Smith ate at the Legal Seafoods at the Philadelphia International Airport yesterday. Smith lunched on fried clams during his commute dining.
