Lil Wayne seizures force plane down in Nebraska

Also in Tattle: Liza Minnelli, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Dicky, Bill Murray, Alexander Hamilton and Chuck Palahniuk

LIL WAYNE had a rough day in the air yesterday. Yes, Weezy made his flight crew queasy.

According to TMZ.com, Wayne, who reportedly has epilepsy, was en route from Milwaukee to California when he had a seizure and blacked out, forcing his pilot to land in Omaha, Neb.

Paramedics came to the tarmac, Wayne woke up, refused to go to the hospital and his private plane took off for the west.

Minutes later, he had another seizure and was back in Omaha.

TMZ says Lil Wayne suffered a near-fatal seizure in 2013 and two 2012 seizures forced his plane down on successive days.

It's Liza with a $

Back in her youth, Liza Minnelli was part of a hard-partying pack of disco-dancing New York celebrities with designer Halston and artist Andy Warhol.

Forty years later, with friends worried that she's become reclusive and may need cash, the late pop artist may help the Cabaret star to keep the music going.

The New York Post's "Page Six" reports that Liza, 70, who has left Manhattan for Los Angeles, has put her 22-piece collection of Warhol art on the market for $40 million.

(Financial note from Tattle: If you own $40 million worth of art, we have very different types of money issues.)

Of course it's possible that Liza is simply downsizing-or needs wall space for dogs playing poker.

Said her spokesman to London's Daily Mail: "Like any art collector Liza has always looked for opportunities to buy and sell."

Page Six says the sale is a family affair featuring multiple paintings Liza, her mother, Judy Garland, and her father, Vincente Minnelli.

Two from Philly, make 'Freshman Class'

Our colleague Sofiya Ballin reported yesterday on philly.com that two local acts who performed at this year's Roots Picnic, have made XXL magazine's coveted Freshman Class.

Lil Uzi Vert is a North Philly native who claims Marilyn Manson as one of his influences, often saying he's trying to bring the rock to rap. Fans are attracted to Vert's energy more than his wordplay.

Vert exploded onto the scene with popular tracks like "Money Longer" and headlines the Fillmore on June, 28.

Cheltenham's Lil Dicky is a comedic rapper who built a strong following with his music videos, lyrics and rapid cadence. He went viral last year with the vid for "$ave That Money," where he raps about the swag of the save.

When Ballin spoke with Dicky, 28, he said rap "started off as a comedic thing . . . but as I kept doing it, I just got better and better."

XXL has named a Freshman Class since 2008, and only Meek Mill and Asher Roth were Philadelphians hailed as the next to blow up. Other past honorees have included Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Wale and Chance the Rapper.

The Freshman Class issue hits newsstands June 28.

TATTBITS

Bill Murray has been selected to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on Oct. 23 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C.

"I believe Mark Twain has rolled over in his grave so much for so long, that this news won't disturb his peace," Murray said in a statement.

* The day after Hamilton won 11 Tony Awards, books related to the musical are also thriving.

The paperback edition of Ron Chernow's 2004 biography about the country's first treasury secretary, was No. 1 on Amazon.com as of midday Monday. A book about the show's creation, Hamilton: The Revolution, was third on the best-seller list.

* In other book news, the author of Fight Club is following in the crayons of J.K. Rowling and George RR Martin and joining the coloring book club.

Dark Horse Books announced Monday that Chuck Palahniuk's Bait: Off-Color Stories for You to Color will come out this fall. "Bait" is a hybrid of short stories and black-and-white illustrations by a variety of artists that readers can fill in.

Remember, The first rule of coloring is: you do not talk about coloring. The second rule of coloring is: you DO NOT talk about coloring! Third rule of coloring: stay between the lines or it's over.
