Environmental Tectonics Corp., Southampton, today said it has won a $2 million contract to supply the air force of a country in South East Asia with equipment to train pilots in water survival and rescue procedures.

The company did not name the country that awarded the contract. Environmental Tectonics designs aircrew training systems and other process simulation systems and does environmental testing.

It includes an underwater escape trainer that allows aircrews to practice underwater escape procedures, and a helicopter rescue hoist trainer that allows aircrews to practice the proper procedures for water rescue. Delivery is expected by the end of 2007.
