SAP names executive to head growth sectors

SAP America Inc. today named Peter Dunning to its executive leadership team to run its business with the public services, retail and financial services industries, which are among SAP's fastest-growing markets, the Newtown Square company said.

SAP America Inc. today named Peter Dunning to its executive leadership team to run its business with the public services, retail and financial services industries, which are among SAP's fastest-growing markets, the Newtown Square company said.

SAP America in Delaware County is a subsidiary of SAP AG in Germany, a provider of business software.

SAP America employs 7,000 in the United States, including about 1,700 in the Philadelphia area.

Dunning, 55, is returning to SAP, where he worked between 1991 and 1998. He was most recently president of field operations for Rightnow Technologies Inc., Bozeman, Mont., and, before that he was executive vice president and general manager of S1 Corp. near Atlanta.
