Wolters Kluwer Health, a healthcare information services and publishing company in Conshohocken, has acquired The Cancer Journal for an undisclosed amount from Jones & Bartlett Publishers.

The Cancer Journal will be published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, which is Wolters Kluwer Health's leading medical publishing brand.

Wolters Kluwer Health said acquisition enhances its ability meet a wider range of healthcare professionals' needs for integrated oncology information.

"The acquisition of The Cancer Journal is congruent with our strategy to grow our leading positions by extending our proprietary content in the health-care industry," said Jeff McCaulley, Wolters Health president and chief executive officer.

Wolters Kluwer Health is a division of Wolters Kluwer, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, which provides products and services in health, tax, accounting, corporate, financial services, legal and regulatory and education sectors.
