The Philly-based retailer is currently being taken to task on Twitter under the hashtag #UrbanOutfittersBeLike. The idea being, of course, to mock the company's practice of renaming everyday items in order to jack up their prices.
It all started innocently enough when one Twitter user posted nothing more than a photo of Urban's "Maya's Marble Ponytail Holder," which sells for $8 per four-pack on Urban's website. For some hair-ties.

According to analytics company Topsy, more than 100,000 tweets have been sent using the hashtag — which doesn't exactly indicate a small number of unhappy customers. Urban Outfitters has not yet responded to request for comment.
