They're making a porn parody of HBO's 'Girls' that no one asked for

It seems as though the only thing more popular than pornography on the Internet is arguing about the cultural significance and debating the critical acclaim of Lena Dunham's HBO show Girls.

It seems as though the only thing more popular than pornography on the Internet is arguing about the cultural significance and debating the critical acclaim of Lena Dunham's HBO show Girls. So, it's only fitting that Hustler has created a porn parody of the controversial program.

It'll be called This Ain't Girls XXX and will focus on Alex Chance's character, Hannah, as she denounces her boyfriend, Adam (and men all other men), to experiment with women. SPOILER ALERT: She eventually returns to Adam.

Richie Calhoun—who plays Adam in the XXX parody—says that the sexual content of the HBO show made it easy to adapt for a more, ahem, adult audience.

According to Calhoun, Canterbury captures the tone and voice of the show, and Hannah in particular, calling it "provocative" and "very well written."

He also mentioned that, due to the show's frequent sexual themes, "They didn't have to do much" but roll with the original script and extend the intercourse scenes.

No word on whether or not the XXX professionals were able to successfully capture the egocentricity of the HBO characters in their parody. Though, it's difficult to imagine a situation in which that degree of insufferable selfishness could be replicated because, Marnie and Charlie, am I right? [Xbiz, h/t Gothamist]
