18 must-see vendors at Holiday Punk Rock Flea Market

Gift-giving this holiday season isn’t all about glossy, packaged and new items. Sometimes you need to add a splash of punk into your generosity. This weekend’s holiday edition of R5 Production’s Punk Rock Flea Market is sure to be the one-stop shop for jewelry, art, apparel — the list goes on and on.

Gift-giving this holiday season isn't all about glossy, packaged and new items. Sometimes you need to add a splash of punk into your generosity. This weekend's holiday edition of R5 Production's Punk Rock Flea Market is sure to be the one-stop shop for jewelry, art, apparel — the list goes on and on.

Held at the Punk Rock Flea Market Dome (461 N. 9th St.) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14, the flea market will be stacked with over 500 vendors — and a different roster of sellers each day, too.

And not only will you be stocking up on the raddest gifts (or personal treasures), your $3 entry fee (good for both days) will help go towards R5's donation to SKATEISTAN, a nonprofit encouraging safe entertainment — primarily skateboarding — to kids — mainly young girls — in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa.

Also during the two-day event, pick up discounted tickets ($3 off) to all 2015 R5 shows between 10 a.m. and noon.

Wait, there's more! On Saturday, Dec. 13 only, right next door at District N9NE (460 N. 9th St.), the Philadelphia Record Riot will be throwing it down from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission gets you into the PRFM as well and access to DJs spinning and over 50 tables of dealers selling vinyl, CDs, DVDs, memorabilia and more.

Good vibes all across the board.

To hold you over until the grand event, take a look at some of the vendors taking part in this year's bash in the slide show above.

Both days' food vendors include Spot Burger, Vernalicious, Kung Fu Hoagies, Blackbird Pizza, Little Baby's Ice Cream and Reanimator Coffee.
