Chef Jennifer Carroll is gigging tonight
Top Chef alumna Jennifer Carroll - doing the chef circuit nowadays - will be the first chef participating in a new, occasional series at Underground Arts (12th and Callowhill Streets) that melds cooking and music.

In sum, COOK and Bonfire/Electric Factory Concerts are bringing in chefs to cook concert grub.
The premiere of this visiting chef series is tonight (Nov. 7), starting at 8 p.m. for Communion's new monthly club nights series. Tonight's bill includes Tennis, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Savoir Adore, and On and On.
For her one-nighter, Carroll will prepare duck nuggets with spiced plum glaze, crispy sausage-stuffing bites, grilled pimento cheese sandwich, pigs in a blanket, striped bass taco, and ginger snap Rice Krispie treats.
Proceeds will benefit Philabundance.
