Temple coach Matt Rhule says at this point he doesn't worry about the Top 25 polls, but the Owls are getting awfully close to consideration.

In the Associated Coaches Top 25 Poll, the Owls just missed out, in the 26th spot. Duke was No. 25 with 114 points, one spot ahead of No. 24 Houston, which is the lone American Athletic Conference team in the Top 25.

Temple and fellow AAC member Memphis were 26th and 27th respectively.  Temple received 96 points while Memphis had 59.

Temple has not been ranked since at the end of the 1979 season. The Owls finished 17th in the AP Poll.

In addition, Temple is 27th in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

In this poll, Memphis is 22nd, the lone AAC team. Rounding out the poll are No. 23 Cal, No. 24 Duke and No. 25 Toledo.

Houston is 26th with 75 points while Temple is next with 71 points.
