Temple has received its fourth basketball commitment for the Class of '17 and the third in the last week when Justyn Hamilton, a  6-foot-10 power forward from Independence High in Charlotte, North Carolina, announced his decision on Monday.

"Beyond proud to say I am committing to Temple," Hamilton wrote on Twitter.

Temple and DePaul had been two of the main schools in the running for his services.

On Friday, the Owls received a commitment from De'Vondre "Dre" Perry, a 6-6- forard from Baltimore's Polytechnic Institute. Perry had announced on Twitter that his final four choices other than Temple were Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Seton Hall and USC

Also last week Temple received a commitment from J.P. Moorman, a 6-7 forward from Greensboro Day School in North Carolina. Georgia Tech, Cincinnati and Richmond, were among the schools that Moorman was considering.

Temple's first commitment was 6-4 combination guard Nate Pierre-Louis from New Jersey's Roselle Catholic.
