Man killed in street shooting in Spring Garden
A 31-year-old man was shot throughout his body on the 700 block of Green Street, not far from Northern Liberties, police said.
Philadelphia police were searching Friday night for the person who gunned down a 31-year-old man in the city’s Spring Garden section.
The shooting happened at 8:19 p.m. outside on the 700 block of Green Street, not far from Northern Liberties, police said
Officers arrived at the scene to find the victim with bullet wounds throughout his body. Police said the man, whom they did not identify, was pronounced dead at Hahnemann University Hospital.
A 24-year-old woman was also injured in the incident, they said, and was listed in critical but stable condition at Hahnemann late Friday.
No weapon was recovered from the area and no other details were immediately available.
