Man fatally shot in Kensington

An unidentified man was fatally shot Tuesday night in the city’s Kensington section, police said.

The man, described as in his early 20s, was shot once in the chest shortly before 7 p.m. in the area of Weymouth and Clearfield Streets. He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 7:07 p.m.

Police reported no arrests.
