Ryan Schreiber went 3-for-4 with a double, three RBIs, and the walk-off single as the Ridley baseball team edged Penncrest, 5-4, on Wednesday. Cam Farro and TJ McNeely each hit a triple for the Green Raiders.

Justin Barcoski allowed six hits and a run with seven strikeouts as Father Judge downed Archbishop Ryan, 4-1. Lenny Gipson went 2-for-4 with three RBIs as Barcoski and Ethan Martini each doubled for the Crusaders.

Jimmy King stroked three singles and had two RBIs in St. Joseph’s Prep 12-1 victory over Bishop McDevitt. Luke Montanez added a double and two RBIs for the Hawks.

Dom Picone scattered three hits over six innings with 10 strikeouts to lead Garnet Valley over Strath Haven, 3-0. Steve Theisen had two hits and an RBI for the Jaguars.

Cam Marcus tossed a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts as Conestoga knocked off Springfield Delco, 7-0. Marcus helped his cause with a double, a triple, and two RBIs. Blaise Rantanen added a double and three RBIs for the Pioneers.

Luke Cantwell pitched 6 1/3 innings of two-run ball with 12 strikeouts to lead Marple Newtown past Lower Merion, 8-3. Kevin Merrone added a triple and three RBIs for the Tigers.

Ryan McCarthy tripled and drove in three runs as Haverford High upended Radnor, 7-3. Matteo Gonzalez doubled and added two RBIs for the Fords.

Chris Douglas belted a two-run home run for Methacton in a 9-3 triumph over Phoenixville. Conor Smith added three hits, and was a single shy of the cycle.

Ethan Boni homered and Adam Fine doubled to support Duncan Attig as Harriton blanked Upper Darby, 14-0.

Softball

Ally Black’s walk-off single in the seventh scored Sami La Rosa Wednesday as the West Chester Rustin softball team edged Unionville, 10-9. La Rosa hit a pair of doubles and knocked in three runs for the Golden Knights.

Rachel Cowley lashed two doubles and tossed six scoreless innings with six strikeouts to lift Marple Newtown over Lower Merion, 4-0. Brianna Kelly added a triple for the Tigers.

Lauren Lofland struck out five and allowed two hits in Conestoga’s 12-1 win over Springfield Delco. Libby Winters contributed two hits and two RBIs while Sophia Angelucci and Emme Rycyzym each tripled for the Pioneers.

Taylor Angelillis hit two doubles and had four RBIs as Methacton cruised past Phoenixville, 17-5. Abigail Penjuke had two doubles and two RBIs for the Warriors.

India Laws struck out eight in three innings and tripled and had four RBIs in West Philadelphia’s 15-0 decision over Dobbins.

Aniyel Castro got the win on the mound and tripled in Southern’s 21-6 win over Elverson. Xiania Price hit a home run for the Rams.

Ashley Maldonado laced a pair of doubles as Esperanza topped Roxborough, 11-6. Katherine Vargas and Nayelis Moralis each added a double for the Toros.

Ellie Benedict pitched a three-inning perfect game and doubled twice as Constitution routed Frankford, 19-0.

Rebecca Cassel-Siskinz went 4-for-4 with two home runs and earned the win as Science Leadership rolled past Franklin Learning Center, 15-1. Lily Prendergast and Leah Bradstreet each doubled for the Rockets.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Abby Watson scored four goals, including the 100th of her career, as Nazareth Academy defeated St. Basil, 22-4. Brooke Kane led the Pandas with seven goals.

Mack Moore scored a game-high six goals as Upper Dublin beat Wissahickon, 16-10. Jackie Rama and Julia Reardon chipped in four goals apiece for the Cardinals.

Girls’ Basketball

Fran Burbidge has been named the new coach for the Westtown girls’ basketball team. Burbidge last coached at Bishop Shanahan from 2013-17, winning three Ches-Mont League titles.
