Southeastern Pa. roundup: Neumann-Goretti baseball no-hits Lansdale Catholic in combined effort

Gabe Rappa pitched 6 2/3 innings of no-hit ball with nine strikeouts Tuesday as the Neumann Goretti baseball team blanked Lansdale Catholic, 3-0. Jeff Rosenblum got the final out to complete the no-hitter for the Saints. Jameson Masino doubled and knocked in two runs for the victors.

Jack O’Reilly scattered four hits and struck out five as Episcopal Academy topped Germantown Academy, 4-2. O’Reilly helped himself to an RBI single after Jake Jaszcz’s triple. Will Kelley and Tommy Dennis each had an RBI for the Churchmen.

Dean Bergmann and Colin Schumm each smacked a double in Penn Charter’s 8-2 victory over Haverford School. Jake Siani added a triple, while Vincent Fattore went 2-for-2 with an RBI for the Quakers.

Fred O’Rourke struck out 10 in five innings and doubled twice as Constitution rolled past Washington, 11-1. Amir Hatchett added a double for the Generals.

Connor Campbell blasted a three-run homer in the visiting seventh to lead New Hope-Solebury over Dock Mennonite, 4-3. Blake Doherty got the win in two innings of relief.
