Haverford boys, Germantown Academy girls win Inter-Ac track titles

The Haverford School boys won the Inter-Ac League track and field championship on Saturday, while Germantown Academy took the girls’ title.

Daiyaan Hawkins finished first in the 100- and 200-meter dashes for Haverford. Kevin Thomas took the 300 hurdles, and the 4x100 and 4x800 relay teams won.

For the Patriots, Moforehan Abinusawa won the 100 and 200. Isabella Goldstein captured the 3,200, 1,600, and 800 for the Patriots. Liliana Cohen and Quartnei Brown went one-two in the pole vault, and Meghan Toscano took first in the shot put. The 4x100 relay edged Penn Charter for first, while the 4x400 relay beat Notre Dame for the top spot.
