Get ’em while they’re hot! Dunkin’ Donuts this week launched a limited edition line of nail polish, inspired by its coffee flavors and the company’s signature colors.

The eight-color collection is available while supplies last at two Philadelphia nail salons: The Nail Bar at 133 S 18th St. and The Polish Nail Bar at 2403 Fairmount Ave. They can also be found at Best of Nails & Spa at 1930 W Main St. in Norristown, and Designer Nails at 1234B East Lincoln Hwy in Langhorne.

The nail polish (which, by the way, is not edible) is a collaboration with Lauren B. Beauty, a California-based nail polish company.

Don’t go looking for shades that evoke glazed doughnuts or Boston creme pastries. The colors are all inspired by flavors of coffee. There are three “latte” shades — cocoa mocha, caramel craze and blueberry crisp — and three that represent the company’s seasonal Baskin-Robbins coffee flavors, pistachio almond fudge, butter pecan and banana split.

Dunkin’ fans can also opt for mani-pedis in the classic pink and orange colors used in the company’s signs and packaging.

Do any of these colors scream Dunkin'? Not particularly, although three look like coffee, and the colors are kind of cute. We’re digging the pistachio almond fudge, a nice summer beach hue.

Anyone who visits a participating salon and selects a Dunkin’ color will receive a $3 DD gift card, according to the company.

But we have to say: This is a totally weird marketing tie-in, particularly in the Philadelphia area where the gourmet and small batch coffee scene is booming. Plus, if you’re going chain coffee, we’re going Wawa. But please, Wawa, stay away from our nails.
