ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Seeking to reverse its struggles, one Atlantic City casino is reversing its name.

The Ocean Resort Casino is now calling itself the Ocean Casino Resort. The change was announced Wednesday to play up the gambling aspect of the resort that was formerly known as Revel.

The property unveiled a new logo to go along with the name change.

A spokeswoman said the new name is intended to emphasize that the property plans to put the casino customer first. The casino is in the process of changing ownership after quickly running into financial difficulty last fall, just months after reopening.

New York hedge fund Luxor Capital is assuming ownership from Colorado developer Bruce Deifik, who was killed in a car accident Sunday in Denver while the transaction was pending.
