SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Muffet McGraw and Geno Auriemma know each other well.

They both got their college coaching starts under former Ohio State coach Jim Foster at Saint Joseph's in Philadelphia, where McGraw also played. The two were never on the same staff, but have known each other for years. Their paths will cross again Sunday in the NCAA semifinals as McGraw seeks to lead Notre Dame (35-1) to its second national title and Auriemma looks to guide the Huskies (33-4) to their eighth.

The two say the matchup is more about their teams than about themselves.

After already facing each other 11 times already in the past three seasons, both admit they are tired of meeting in the NCAA semifinals. They say they would have preferred delaying the rematch until the final.
