Biden on Clinton: 'I never thought she was the correct candidate'

Speaking at the SALT hedge fun conference in Las Vegas, Joe Biden told attendees that he never thought Hillary Clinton was the right choice to be the Democratic Party's nominee in the 2016 election. "I never thought she was the correct candidate. I thought I was the correct candidate," according to a tweet from Fusion reporter Hamilton Nolan. "Hillary would have been a really good president," he added.
When pressed about running in 2020, Biden said, “Could I? Yes. Would I? Probably not,” according to CNN.
