Israeli defense officials warn Assad still has chemical weapons
Israeli defense officials warned the international community that Syria's President Bashar Assad still has up to three tons of chemical weapons. The announcement came following laboratory tests that concluded civilians in the attack were exposed to nerve sarin nerve gas. Israeli intelligence believes the attack was carried out by Syria's military with the knowledge and approval of Assad. While Assad denies the attack on the rebel-held town in the Idlib province, the assessment was confirmed by two other Israeli defense officials.
