Face slashing suspect

At 4:05 a.m., Nov. 11, 2012, a woman, 23, was on the 700 block of South 9th Street, Philadelphia, when a man attacked her from behind. He struck her in the face with an unknown object causing a large cut requiring 100 stitches. He then took her purse and north on 9th Street, then east on Fitzwater Street. The suspect is described as a white male, thin build, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with an emblem on left side of hood, black pants and dark colored shoes.
