Septa workers should be ashamed of themselves... with all the people who are laid off, living on either one or no income, they should be thankful for what they do have. No body has 100% health coverage in this country anymore. They are so out of touch with reality. The unions are going to dig this city into destitute. Thanks for t...he farewell Septa, can not wait to be riding on the reliable and FAST MTA next week! Good riddance Septa inepta!
public transportation bailout all the wastfull spending of the stimulus package the people of philadelphia should have the right to a safe clean polite public transportation system so the few of the people who actuatly have jobs could get to them
They should all be fired, at the same time, so they can all go out and fight to find jobs as one! FIRE THEM!!!!
So let me get this straight. The average SEPTA worker pulls in 52k a year in a city that has a median HOUSEHOLD income of 35k and despite that, PLUS the fact that they enjoy unbelievable benefits they still aren’t content? As Rendell said this is a perfect example of their union leadership not knowing when to declare victory. Septa shouldn’t sweeten this deal a dime & if the union wants to keep walking the picket line Rendell should withdraw his 6million dollars so that they'll get even less in the end. Time to wake up local 234 it's tough all around - don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
Fire them all! Where's Ronald Reagan when you need him?
Talks failed, my eye. I'd gladly take 11 1/2 % over 5 years if they offered it. With the 100-day state budget impasse, where do think the money for more would come from?
Way to many managers at SEPTA, get rid of them. Clean out 1234 Market Street it's full of over-paid do nothings. As a matter fact sell the building and use the money to put more serves on the street
SEPTA workers are the most ungrateful workers ever. Your rude and very arrogant. They need to ask for the money to get better customer service training. Don't they now the economy has changed, even big corporations has made dramatic cuts, but you all still want more. Keep Squeezing..... And still nothing!!!
Me my self they have to many chiefs and no indians the fat terd who represents 234 is a waste of sperm ,to not let the union vote he never brought it to their attion, these family man?&woman would have taken the contract, now he pi$$es of the Gov,well hello fast Eddie has the funding from harrisburgh, and he's done with the greety bums ....
