Kobe Bryant, the former Lower Merion standout and international superstar, did not disappoint the many fans wearing Lakers colors at the Wachovia Center. Bryant scored 32 points as the 76ers fell, 114-102.

Even worse for the Sixers, power forward Elton Brand suffered a strained right hamstring. He will be re-evaluated Thursday.
